I’ve not read *loads* around this but found the Russian POV especially interesting, given ongoing LGBTQ+ challenges there. Not even phonetically. He’s a linguist and spent 4 hours a day learning Russian throughout filming. Russian extras thought he was Russian! There were two words he said that made my ‘accent ears’ prick up so I googled him and he’s from Texas!! So impressed.
I get it. A few of my friends struggled with it but I say keep going!!! Yes, there’s a lot of sex at the beginning and the time line is so fast it’s hard to keep up {Pun intended} but the storyline gets better and from episode 4 onwards there’s no leaving them on the sidelines {very proud of my sports metaphor there 🤓}
